The A-Frame shed is our standard and most economical design, featuring a lower 5/12 pitch roof and small overhangs. A door is traditionally placed in the center of one of the longer walls, with windows on either side. It’s a classic and timeless shed style, and a popular model.
A-Frame sheds are a great style for those that are looking for a smaller and less conspicuous storage structure, as it has a smaller overall footprint. It’s a great option for basic storage, but can be used for a variety of other purposes, including a small poolhouse, studio, or she-shed.
The lower sloped roof limits vertical space in the structure, making the A-Frame’s interior easier to cool in the summer and heat in the winter. This roof style also is the reason why an A-Frame is less expensive since the roof requires less material and labor to build.
