Design and quote your future DreamSpace with our 3D Designer
There are so many different styles and types of backyard structure for you to consider, it could feel a bit overwhelming. We have tried to make it easier with this website. But here is a quick overview to get you started:
The first thing you need to think about is how you want to use your shed today… and in the future. Remember… unlike ordinary sheds that only last 8-12 years before they need to be replaced or significantly repaired, our structures are designed to last much longer, even though they don’t cost that much more than an ordinary cheap shed.
For instance, you may just want storage now, but in a few years you may want a home office that isn’t in your home. Or you may want a play area for the kids. Or you may want to create an entertainment area for the guys… or the girls.
Once you know what you may want to do with it, you can start thinking about things like… do I need an overhead storage area? Do I need garage-style doors somewhere? Will I want a screened or porch area where you can sit outside? Or is this just going to be a great looking place to store your stuff and nothing else?
We have the styles and materials to help you accomplish any of those things.
Here are some of the basic outside styles…
There are basic “Garden Sheds” that give you a great place to work and store things with a little extra head room.
The “High Barn” provides lots of extra headroom so you can create loft areas for play or storage. They can make great basic garages, playhouses, or big super-efficient storage areas.
The Quaker style shed gives you a bit of an overhang on the front, so you can keep the windows open even in a light rain. They make great spaces that have the look of a horse barn, or just make a wonderful home office.
Victorian style structures have an attractive side gable that adds style and can even make for a great porch area.
Pool houses make a fantastic entertainment space, where you can combine an open or screened area with a closed storage or work area. Most pool houses are actually used for backyard entertainment centers with no pool at all.
And, of course, there is the basic mini-barn that really started the whole backyard shed movement… or the classic “A”-Frame shed with a shallow-pitched roof. Both provide storage with the capability of re-creating them into other more useful spaces later.
All that means is that you can give your DreamSpace the style you want… at a price you can afford,… because we have so many design options.
What if you want even more space? Well, can give it to you.
How about a two-story garage or barn? Perfect if you want easy-access storage upstairs or even an office or rental space up there.
And we can always help you design a custom garage to fit both your property and match your house.
At Lapp Structures, we have lots of styles. We have lots of design options. Lots of different materials to fit your needs. And our solutions are always affordable.
