Why Build a Backyard Playhouse?

Think back to your childhood. Did you have a treehouse, a fort, or one of those plastic playhouses in the backyard where no parents were allowed? You made the rules. Wasn’t it great?

Now you have kids of your own. Our structures make for excellent playhouses. Perhaps your kids want a miniature version of your house, or maybe a castle or tree fort. Our basic designs can be modified to create the perfect space to allow their imagination to run wild.

What Can Your Kids Do in Their Own Playhouse Shed?

The best part about a playhouse shed is that your kids are free to be creative and do whatever they want in it. It lowers your stress level too: imagine not having to clean up after your kid’s latest art project (although you might have to remind them to clean up their playhouse!).

Your kids will also benefit from the fact that they’ll spend less time on their phones, tablets, and in front of the television, and more time outside and interacting with others. It’s often said that the problem with kids today is that they lack social skills — well, this is a great way to build that back up!

Are Playhouse Sheds Safe for Children?

We have kids too, so safety is our priority. Our wood playhouse structures are specifically designed to lessen the risk of injury. Wood can be treated to lessen the risk of splinters, and sharp edges and corners are minimized. We also build to the scale of your child, so little hands can operate it without the need for parental supervision.
